So after a few hours in my storage unit with the supra I managed to get the rear timing case off without moving the head, dropped the pan and persuaded it to come off, I will loosen head enough to put a pencil on the deck and replace the case then torque again. However I found the problem as was...
From what I'm seeing the leak is above that plug, if it was the plug would it not drain down? Is there suppose to be any oil retained behind this plate?
If the seal wasnt installed correctly wouldn't I have oil on my timimg belt? Ites leaking from behind that plate that the seal is on.
