What Jeff said... 1 off job from a mid 80's 300ZX. This car was built in two home garages. Kyle Simpson (projectsupra) did a majority of the fab work in SC and I carted it home to NH. He was far more talented than I. I did all the easy stuff, body work, paint, reassembly, motor swap etc...
My build was on Supra Forums... in probably 05 ? 06. If the car hasn't surfaced by now I'm sure the guy I sold it to never finished it and its just rotting way somewhere.
It was an 86.5... more info.
It was the only true t-top (Not a targa...) MK3 Supra that ever existed as far as I know, You'd know it if you saw it. 12 Pt cage, 1J Swap, Twin TD05 setup. There's hundreds of photos floating around from my build almost ten years ago.
First off, thanks to whichever moderator revived my username so I didn't have to start from scratch. Much appreciated.
Second,
Did my T-top Supra ever surface on these forums after I sold it ?
1.Turn your headlights on, then shut the ignition off.
2.Grab a milk crate, or a 5 gallon bucket.. depending on your height.
3.Climb onto that bucket, make sure you're wearing your freshest tim's.
4.Then stomp on the headlight covers. They will go down, to whichever height you desire...
The T-top supra was mine, Sold to a guy in IL, doubt he ever finished it.:3d_frown:
The first, original Project Supra Targa Bars, 2 peice design.
Regulus Hatch visor
9 Gauge pod.
You're the reason why my bike insurance is so high you jackass. It has nothing to do with people taking it easy on bikes. I agree with you(Scary thought) That you can get hurt on any bike BUT Smaller bikes are generally easier to handle, more forgiving,. Hence learning, on a smaller bike...
Than if you beleive that everything custom should be replicated, it goes to show that you can't think on your own.
The point of a custom peice is that someone makes it, because they want it. It's an original design, something they thought up and had the skills to make.
I will not sell...
That is my gauge pod on ebay, I listed it for sale on SupraForums for OVER 6 months and no body was willing to pay so I put it on ebay. I will not sell it to someone if they intend to replicate it. I bought it as a rare one off peice, aswell as the other parts that kyle was generous enough to...
Congrats Man. It will make a nice addition to your parts collection
Just a shame that someone didn't buy the whole car that it came off of , A true masterpeice.
I just recently got wind of this thread :icon_bigg
Thanks for all the comments guys, I know alot of you followed my progress from when I first got the car
Again ,just sticking my head in here
Thanks !
