Info on stock stereo head units

Thanks, but still trying to figure out if one of the units that have on one plug in would work. My head unit has two rectagular plug connectors on the back, one a bit more narrow than the other, and the harness from the dash has both plugs that plug into it. Most of the head units I've seen...

Info on stock stereo head units

I'm trying to find a Toyota stero head unit with CD for my 91. The stock stereo cassette has two separate connector plugs on the back, but I've noticed several of the newer Toyota units only have one plug. Can anybody explain this? Does it have to do with an internal vs external amp? Thks

Just when u think your car is safe!!!!!

Man, that was one beautiful car. I was hoping I'd see it around town sometime. Also, what a mess. I was wondering if the accident would make the local news. Anyway, good luck with the insurance and all. I hope they at least compensate you financially.

I met Pioneer today. He checked out my 91 and NO indications of a BHG! The car needs some work and now I know MKIII Revolution Inc. is the place to get it done right. Great guy, patient, answerered my questions and didn't even give me a hardtime for wanting to keep my 91 very close to...

    HELP! my heater!

I had the same problem but fixed it today. The easiest way is to take off the vac line at the bottom of the VSV (valve) and put it into the nipple on top. Take the top vac line and loop it around to where you removed the bottom line. MIne works like a charm now.

    Detroit Auto Show

I guess there are lots of rumors about the next Supra. I read Toyota will introduce a new Supra in late 2007 or early 2008. As far as price, they were shooting in the $30 to $40 range to take on the Nissan 350 and Infinity G35. I did read that they were looking a a hybird 8 cylinder, and...

No more Supra, thank you black ice.....

hey Guy, Sorry about your mishap. I recently sold a 90 turbo to a guy in Kentucky as a parts car. The body was in very good shape. He has stripped the inside, motor, and trany, but car still has the LSD. He has the shell on E-bay now, and it was only $51 bucks last night. I found that...

Quick question on P/S system bleeding

Thanks for all the help. Just finished flushing the system again, and now she's working fine. Strange tho, I never got any foaming bubbles, but just added new fluid slowly while buddy turned to wheel lock. Anyway, no more noise and fluid level seems constant after 10 mile test drive.

Quick question on P/S system bleeding

Thanks or the info. I tried all that and steering seems a bit easier, but pump still sounds bad. Is there just the one screen in the resovoir, or is there also a screen in the return line? The resovoir is full, and when I turn to wheel lock it drops down, but I have not seen any foam or any...

Quick question on P/S system bleeding

Was having P/S problems with 91 Turbo and based on info from here removed resovoir and cleaned screen (couldn't believe how much gunk was in there). Do I really need to jack the car up to bled the system, or can I just turn do the "turn to wheel lock" several times with the car on the ground...

Changed bulbs, now no power to fuel pump; WTF?

There's a small interior light on the inside of the hatch area, but that being unplugged could in no way interfer with the car starting.
