Yep, probably the only wing id consider putting on my Supra besides the 89+ 3 Piece. Would love if it got reproduced and would probably drop a good chunk of money on it but, I have a feeling it would've happened already if it was ever going to. If only the current owners/holders weren't so...
I ended up spending ~$6500 on mine. Though it was more than the usual 1jz swap because went single turbo right off the bat. Paid $2900 for the motor shipped to my house, $350 to get the harness extended locally, $500 Precision Turbo (from member on here), $300 drewgo manifold (locally from a...
Yeah youre right I just checked their ebay listing and it shows as LSX mounts for 86-92 supra. They really should update it to 89-92 LSX mounts or similar.
msimsi10, did you contact CXracing about your issues and at least get them returned and your money back or something?
Well yeah wouldn't that be equivalent to trying to mount 7m or JZ late 89 or 89+ motor mounts into a pre89 subframed Supra..? Looks like theyll work fine if you use them for what they were made for. How is this their mistake when they clearly told you about it and you knew?
Why didnt you just...
Id just get a set off of Ebay.

These if you have the 89+ subframe with the round motor...
Are those 1jz motor mount brackets from a JZA70, or Supra?
This is what my JZA70 motor mount brackets looked like. Looks like you may have the wrong ones.
You need the Round style motor mounts to be able to use the stock 1jz motor mount brackets. The offset ones look like theyre the pre89/square style which are the wrong ones.
Heres a picture of the two that I found on google to show that the stud is offset on square style and not on the...
Having never done this "BBK" I would measure out 4mm or 5mm in washers with a set of digital/dial calipers and then put them on. I would then check how the caliper and pads line up with the rotor and if it needs to be spaced more or less by most likely 1mm.
Our Toyota hub is 60.1mm IIRC. Id go with some aluminum hub centric rings if I were to do this.

So anyways have some time here to post an update from the last pics you guys saw. I'll explain as I go with the pictures! :p
So I started ordering a bunch of parts. Atleast the ones I knew I had to replace. I didn't order the radiator at this point because there was still hope that the previous...
That manifold is made by a Lexus SC300 guy named Drewgo I believe. Cant really find them anymore except for in the for sale threads every now and then. The ebay manifolds these days are just fine as long as you brace the turbo flange properly once you get it.
So, I figured its time to update my thread. Quite a bit has happened and along the way the 1jz has provided we with reliable transportation by Supra (most of the time, more on that).
I had been driving the Supra with the 1jz swap reliably minus a going through about 3 ECUs total before getting...
