We're talking about POWER not a 290hp 7M...that can be done MUCH cheaper.

Dude, I went through it with my old NA. Got NEW dealership parts. F the insurance companies...they're sitting there right now thinking about how to screw you, it's their job. Yours is to do right by your car as both your baby and an asset.
