Yeah just undo the two 10's, some will come out but not all. Not the best to run pure coolant, toyota red is the best. If Unsure then just use pre-mixed.

thanks all! the motor is no where what i want it to be as far as cleanliness. i will be powdercoating my rims as well as valve covers and ffim. when i pull it in a couple months, im tearing the motor down painting it, replacing rings, bearings, and 3mm headgasket.

Did you check to see if colant on where the spark plugs are? Under the cover. There have been a couple of times it's gotten wet and had to be dried out.

Should be fine as long as you stay under fuel cut. But SAFCII will only get you so far, at least that is my understanding.

I started this project round 6 months ago and now its all finally coming together.

They were vague... said enough to make it level... I'm gonna see if maybe when I bolted it to the block like that tomorrow morning. I know they are reliable cause they build race engines for chevy's and stuff but seems like the 7m may have been a whole nother world to them. I think im gonna call...

One last question... were they supposed to machine the top of the rear timing cover cause it looks like it sits 1-2 mm higher than the block...
