i need a turbo to get me by for now, should i just buy a cheap used ct-26? or get an ebay. how long does the ebay usually last? im running completely stock. all i have is 3 inch down pipe. and thats it for my exhaust. (very loud) :icon_bigg

so now that my car is finally going, very very fast, i noticed that i was getting a lot of compressor surge. i bought a new stock air bypass valve (BOV), and am going to atmosphere now. i still hear a little tiny bit of surge but now that ive opened it up, and really punched it, (dont worry its...
its a stock turbo and i think it went away. i havent had much drive time since i can really only drive it in my neighborhood due to smog stuff. but ill definately keep checking. it didnt smell like anything recognizable either soo i was leaning towards cleaners and what not
so i finally started my supra after putting new engine in! its soo amazing. buuuuut, im getting smoke from turbo and burning from turbo. from what i can see it looks likes its coming mostly between turbo and the elbow where o2 goes. kinda like the gasket it smoking. but obviously its not...
so im almost done with my swap, and i was curious to see if this would do any harm. the part circled in red is capped off. on both the pipe and the intake so theres no connection. ive been readin up and i guess thats where the air bypass valve goes. not sure. is it ok to leave it capped?
