I hear ya. I just bought a jdm motor they claimed "drop in" was a good thing i planned on new MHG and studs it had blown head gasket also...Had oil in every hole, intake as well as exaust. on a good note the turbo was good ;) any way good luck.........

im not sure why im getting 10 lbs. 3" exaust? dont know car is new to me stock motor coming out tomarrow and jdm going in we'll see how much im getting then. could be gauge bad dont know its a stewart warner.
i would not recomend doing this. ground your ground wire (if fan turns backwards its not your ground)get a 2 way toggle switch from local parts house. run positive wire to toggle from fan, run wire from other post on toggle to your positive side of batt. easy enough. just dont forget to turn...
