You need atleast 750cc injectors to really use the 6262. If not just go for 1000cc high impedence and big fuel pump or twin walbros and be done. If you dont have power goal well over 500whp, then the 6262 is too big a turbo for your needs.
Have you looked at SP performance? Ive heard great things about Sound performance, and the build quality looks fantastic, and they will weld up whatever wastegate configuration you want.

Its not a matter of it being over drive or anything. Thats completely irrelevant.
The issue is that its a long gear. So your in it for a long time, thus the turbo is fully spooled and the motor is producing maximum hp for an extended period of time unlike the lower gears where its full power...
Run both. I ran the stock + a Tial 50mm on my 1jz and it all worked fine. Ultimately itd be nice to bypass the stock one and remove it with a block off plate, but its not necessary unless you are trying to boost over 15psi or so.
I would strongly recommend all marlin crawler parts from DM. Great quality and helps beef up the trans a bit. DM also has a rebuilt kit with all the new bearings and seals you will need.
60-1 is going to be plenty for you goals. I would seriously consider cams, do you have to have them? No. But you will be amazed at the difference in the power band up top. These JZ motors love to rev, but with stock cams the power starts falling off by 6k. Where as with just some BC 264 cams...
Its tight but you can remove the stock manifold from the head. Then when you go single youll need an oil adapter to go to a -4AN feed line on the turbo. Driftmotion sells everything you need.
You not very specific in what parts you want? From the experts ive talked to for my 1j, the stock crank is good for abut 750-800hp. Fully built marlin crawler R154 about 700hp, and the rear i have yet to see be destroyed... Clutch is easy, damn near any twin plate should be fine. You get what...
