for all you guys chiming in your 2 cents, i thank you a bunch. im putting the sup's plates in storage so i can take my time and build her up right and take my time with it instead of trying to rush through to get her running so i can get to work and what not. thanks guys, i guess ill hopefully...
i kept trying to tell them that there were no rocker arms on the 7m. to prove the point i took the valve covers off this weekend to disprove their speculations. ill get it all back together and try and get a video of the sound for you guys.
so about a week ago my engine decided to go kaput. i had my dads friend and my uncle(both certified mechs) had a listen and suspected a broken rocker arm. the problem is, i cant find anything about a rocker arm for the 7mge. upon searching rocker arm all i get is rocker panel. anyone have some...
swap motorized antenna with a stationary?
i was wondering if anyone knows what would need to be done to do so. im not that knowledgable in this area so right now im just left with ideas. would i:
a) cut the 'power' cable at the motor and put some kind of threaded tip on the end for an...
is there any kind of chart that compares sway bars. if its possible which allows less body roll. i guess what im actually looking for is the rates and such for the suspension techniques. ive seen the chart that has the whitelines and tanabe sway bars but i was wondering of the ST's. i could...
ive checked and rechecked. in the exploded view of the rear brakes it the brake hose cuts off and only shows the brake end of it. i need the clip that holds the line in place where it connects to the hard line.
hey, i was changing my brake lines today and as i was changing the rear one of the clips broke. theres the bottom 'square' one and the top circular one. i broke the circular one. does anyone have a part number for a replacement?
so i found a good solution.
this is what i was left with.
on my car
on the back of the molding itself
i went to napa and got some clips from napa and cut them to slide into the retainers. left is uncut, right is cut.
slid them in place. this one isnt in all the way though.
89+. the thing is, the white square retainers are still on my molding, its just the retiners themselves, the 'prongs, pegs, clips' whatever theyre called arent there.
lordy, why havent i thought of that. any ol' plastic 'peg' from an auto store should do? of course, with the right size?
i have the white retainers youre talking about but the pegs themselves are awol.
does anyone know where/what the pegs look like that hold the side molding on? or if they have em anywhere? i tried the 3m tape and i dunno whether it was something i did or didnt do but it didnt exactly stick well. anybody got a good way on gettin these bad boys on?
