It WAS an 87 4 cylinder coupe... has a 351 and t5 swap
aod is gone and that takes weight out also.. the auto trans weighs about 160-200 pounds
all interior is all there, good daily driver... but engine bay and all is stripped. no air, no p/s, none of that stuff....
alternator, water pump, and...
motors are in good condition
351 was pulled out of a truck, when we had the intake and all off it looked almost like a new motor, real clean sidewalls etc.
carb is only a holley 600 vacuum secondary, but it does ok
i did.
it just seemed like there was a fewpeople lookin here, and it was just aquick question
there is to many rules here BTW.... :3d_frown:
i would hate to be a moderator here, i dont like being a douchebag
ohh i gotcha...
Whats the deal here:
Ford stock turbo is a 67mm trim or older ford turbo is a 66mm trim
of course bigger for more power compared to the 1jz twins
But why does garrett charge for SOO MUCH for a 67mm trim turbo?
Thats why i was checking here about running stock twin ct26...
to late... lol
but im wanting to turbo my 5.0 cheap
i know there is a website devoted to foxbody dirt cheap turbo installs
BUT, i want some info from you guys on the CT26
AHH dang
i thought that the ct26 was what was on the 1jz twin not the 7m single
i know the twin setup on the 1jz runs about 100$
what does the ct26 run usually?
if they made the ct26 first, why wouldnt they run dual on the 2j/1j
IMO it would be better, parts more universal etc....
ford 1966...
Yea they can change it to SUPRAS - :kickinthenuts: - mustangs
dont know why you would want mustangs to kick supras in the nutz.. but w/e good with you
and could someone look at my other thread in the tech forum :P
