So...to throw a little more feedback into the subject. I started wondering a while back, if people have just become too biased against VGT/VNT turbos, and figured I'd make the leap to see for myself with a modern variant. I'm centering my build (MKIV, 2JZ, fully built engine, titan auto)...

The driveshafts are different lengths, so yes, you'll need a new one. Not sure about R154, but you'll also need to pound the firewall out in order to fit a V160 as the tunnel is different. And you'll need to do a little drilling/cutting to bolt the shifter in, IIRC.

Nope. My torque convertor was screwed soon after posting this, car would just free rev in any gear...working on getting a Titan tranny and convertor installed over the winter.
