hi any one know if thje jap cars have different exhaust systems only i picked up a 3 inch stainless system cheep and was told it was for a 7mgte . its made by rsr and it wont fitt

ok guys i got the kit and all i can say is wow. the turbo isnt held together with glue far from it infact all the kit is very well made i ended up with a turbo a manifold a waiste gate a blow of valve a 3 inch down pipe an air filter and a wastegate pipe . also in the kit are all the turbo oil...

ok guys any body built there own ffim ??????????? i was thinking of using the standard one and cutting the cntr throttle body mount of and maybe welding that back onto the front , obviosly after cutting a hole in it and welding the old mounting position up ...... am i stupid crazy or just...

thanks it was indeed the flywheel (flexplate) bolts loose in the crank :cry: now all i gotta do is pull the box and re tighten the suckers

ok heres we go noise is very loud rumble clunking sound :cry: but only at idle upto around 1000 rpm then it goes away :1zhelp: no noise at 2000 25000 rpm (around were rod knock is ) the engine has 20 psi hot oil pressure @idle and 50 psi @3000rpm i checked the pulley and the starter moter to...

hi dude thats rod knock . bet they didnt clean out the crank shaft or take out the oil gallery plugs ... ... ask me how i know ps did you prim the oil pump and use a new o ring on the screen flange ?

actually the guage should read -4 at idle

ok next job is pull of the big inlet hose to the turbo and see if you can spin the turbo . it should spin nice and smooth .. if it does only other thing it could be is your waste gate jammed , allthough you should see some boost

ok well youre half way there, check the plastic pipe that feeds the sensor with a pressure vacume feed from the inlet manifold
