Ive searched but didnt find what i was looking for. Is the knock sensor from the 87-88 interchangeable with the 89-92 7mgte turbo? Got code 52, did the rewired for the knock sensor but the code is still there. Already tried a different ecu but code is still there. I got two knock sensors off...

That wheel tb bracket is from an ebay 90mm tb i got laying around. There is a few things i had to modified, drilling and cutting to make it work.

Thanks The factory q45 bracket was hitting the power steering and lower runner so i use an aftermarket tb wheel bracket.

Update......... Took the supra to the track today, ran best 12.3 @113mph 12psi street tune. Havnt had the chance to throw it on the dyno yet.

I tried a different ignitor and still the same.

Ok when i rev the motor to 4500rpm it looks like its hitting rev limiter at 4500rpm on the stock tach, but the afc readings are hitting rev limiter 6400-6500rpm. Can it just be a bad tach or is off? This is only 27-28% throttle, or is it my tps is off. Or the tach is off reading and making me...

The other week it died on the road, it wouldnt start. It threw codes 14 and 43, towed it home. The next morning it starts right up like nothing was wrong with it. But now it dont throw any codes.

I found the problem, one of the wire was loose on my afc/vpc. Must of loosen while i was fixing my radio but thanks guys.
