Hi I seem to have a problem with my turbo. also i dont know much about turbos. when i look at the turbo guage it seem to like it never passes around 5psi. and when i was driving on the freeway and steped on the gas i hear some sound like a sputtering sound (something is spinning really fast)...

i found the leak.... the bottom screw in the thermostat housing was gone and i did not even know it thnx for all the help everything is running fine now

well theres only oil on 2 sparkplug wires but it was not that much and it were it conected to the sparkplug. the car could not start till i cleaned them up but it starts up fine. sometimes if i let the car sit for a few days when i start it white blush smoke comes out. and there was oil on the...

i know but does valve seal leak effect the cars ability to pass somg. Cuz theres oil leaking into the cylinder throught the sparkplugs

I have recently discovered 2 of my cylinders had valve seal leak and was wondering if this effects smog testing. If i was to get it fixed would i have a higher chance of passing cali. smog than if i did not fix and go smog it?

I have the same exact problem. i replaced the battery and it did not help at all. The car runs fine when im able to start it up.(other than the fact it runs rich and cant see to pass california smog test, used to overheat and still somtimes smell like its about to overheat again and i dont know...

My 89 turbo has the same problem. if the valve seals are worn can it cause overheating or engine temp increasing?
