umm i hadt this problem with a 2jz fan on my 2jz in my mkiii it took out my cxracing radiator within 5 mins after filing it i took 1/2 inch off and it stopped hitting.

UPDATE!!! CAR IS DONE AT TUNER! picking up today but he said he was upable to get 30psi out of it because the coil packs were getting weak and causing a miss we backed boost down and i will get a set of coils then ill be back up and running perfect but clear up to 28psi everythings fine...
