My 1jz injectors took a crap so I have a guy who has a set of jdm 2jz 440's and I was wondering: 1. Do I still need a resistor box for them to work on my 1jz like usdm 2jz injectors? 2. Will the pigtails be the same or will I have to have the 2jz pigtails? Any help appreciated.

I was jus making sure because I test fitted ones off of a 7m but I know that the 1j and 2j are damn near identical so I figured the 2j stuff would work I just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the help.

Yes the ea2 connector is what hooks into the jap spec fuse box. I think there is like 12 wires. They are for th efi, a/c, and the alt. There should be some diags around somewhere. I'm posting via my smartphone otherwise I would post a .pdf for you. Check the stickys for more info.

When doing the 1jz swap will the 1jz sensors work with the ma70 gauges or do you have to swap the sensors. Also if you have to swap the sensors do they have to be 7mgte or will ge work? I was just wanting to know before I acually get the engine in the car.

yeah i went back through my diags and realized the the top wire was for A/T only and both the car and the 1jz are manual. jus had a dumbass attack. lol

u can use the mkiv high pressure hose or go to driftmotion and buy a stainless steel braided one from aaron. either way works great.

does your car have abs. i know when i had my srt4 i had a wheel speed sensor go bad and my abs light tripped. idk if it is the same thing but if you have abs might want to check the wheel speed sensors.
