God you all have no imagination. All of you hate body kits because there has never been anything decent readily available. This topic has been beaten to death on here. Someones trying to make something sweet for our cars for once stop trying to put him down.
Leigh, I think as long as you...
Wiisass started a thread a while ago about the weights of of random things on the car. We had a bare chassis scrapped, then weighed the front and rear subframes. A quick search will turn it up.
Theses are all I have right now. I have a car almost this stripped in the garage (still has subframe assemblies). However its in the middle of getting a cage so modifications have been made to the shell to fit everything.
You should have stayed and watched it was a really good event for drivers and spectators. You should forget about autox its boring. The next beginner drift event is on the 30th. Find some cheap or used tires and come out and have fun. Its only $40 bucks and you can talk to Wiisass about...
Heres a couple pictures from the drift event last Saturday at Englishtown. They are of Rob aka racerpage sp? These are just the ones I could find quickly I have about 2000 photos from that day probably about 50-80 of Rob. Heres the link the the gallery in case anyone is interested...
Yeah more space would be nice but thats kinda up in the air right now. Yeah I saw you killing it out there on the 25th all you need is suspension and that car would slide all day long. If you can I would suggest coming and hanging out at Englishtown on July 12th for the advanced road course...
Ok will do, and I wish I could be at a place where I never had enough parts. Tragically, We can only keep so many before we run out of places to actually work on cars rather then store parts of them.
We do not have the coilovers now they are still let out so unless Tim gets in touch with the guy who has them it looks like you will be running on your own suspension Wednesday. Sorry Rob.
As for the 7mge its apparently broken in some way or another. We are not sure whats wrong with it but...
The car isn't for sale. Almost everything thats on the car is. We have at least 2 of everything we need sitting in the garage.
And yes new is a relative term. The blue car is new to me.
Out with the old
In with the new
So heres the plan:
Make the car awesome. Right now we're stripping it bare so we can get to work on all the chassis pieces. Cage and subframe reinforcement and suspension parts are on the top of the list. Then we'll worry...
I believe the original weight distribution of the car is 53-4% front 46-7% rear.
And if you weigh the front and rear separately the numbers you get will be off by a little. It will give you a rough estimate by not exactly. Its best to just put scales under all four wheels or have someone...
