OP with the engines choices you mentioned don't forget to weld in some subframe connectors. This cars have very low torsional rigidity. Trust me I have an 84 too. Good luck.

Same thing happened to me. Once I changed the gaskets she fired up and purred like a kitten. The gaskets are a cheap and easy fix. Should run you less then $20.

Can anyone tell me if the title is the proper name for the wiring loom that connects all the interior electrical points, windows, over head lamp, etc. I'm trying to purchase one for my 87 Supra, but can find one anywhere. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Hey D, When I ordered my 87 mouldings the rear passenger come the same way as yours. I asked around to see if I received the JDM or Euro spec corner by accident, but no one could answer. I feel a lot better knowing mine wasn't a defect.
