Quick question I didnt see the gte resistor pack on the "walk-through" for the ge to gte swap. Do I need to get the GTE one? I want to make sure I got everything. Thanks in advance!

One thing I am confused about is the HAC sensor. I got the 87 T engine harness, but was wondering can I run the sensor without having to get the dash harness. I just want to get the car running!!! I eventually want to convert the whole thing. Its just time and money are limited right now :(
Any of you 86.5 owners out there done the ge to gte swap? If so Id like to ask a few questions. Shoot me a pm or hit me up on aim : Aftershock1888
Thanks!!
Okay, I got a buddy over in Japan right now. He says he can find parts dime a dozen over there. I was wondering if the JDM wiring harness and ecu would be best bet to go with or if there is even a difference from the USDM.
Are all the intercoolers for the 7mgte the same? Or is there a difference in the years? Someone has a pre 89 intercooler and I want to be 100% sure it will work with my 86.5 ge to gte swap.
Okay, so I have a 7mgte, want to make sure of the year of the engine so I can proceed with buying a wiring harness and ecu, etc. The serial on the block is 7M0011936. Wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. Sorry for the stupid question. I did search the forum but was unable...

Alright, I currently have an 86.5 5 spd 7mge. Soonish going to be getting a 7mgte. Was wondering what year wiring harness I would need to get? I would take a guess and say 87. But I want to make sure! Thanks.
