$2000 for my 7mge rebuild. New pistons, rings, gaskets, hot tank, boring of .040" over. Still had to go buy a $400 head.

I had to grind the right side of mine, and had to have o2 sensor bung welded on as it didn't fit.

Check out Clearwater Cylinder heads, I got another head from them for $400. http://cylinder-heads.com/details.cfm?itemid=2254 Now it's $450, also you need to send in your old head... Mine:

MK3 Supra was parked beside two of my friends car, hood was popped, because we were at a car show. Some of the people walked by, we overheard them, "OMG LOOK!!!11 IT'S GOT A 1JZ!!!" The Supra is a 7MGE N/A.

Just for clarification, because when I tried doing this myself I couldn't find one guide with all the information to rewire them. For 86.5 owners only. If it's common knowledge/a repost, feel free to delete. If you follow the pictorial guide only 2 steps are different, the first is on Step 06...

..when some money finally rolls in...and the first thing you think about is, "What else do I need to fix/upgrade on the supra...?"

upload a copy of it, i can convert it into a different file format, or you can lol, xilisoft hd video converter can convert almost anything into something else...its quite good, not sure if you can do the full vid..unless you rip it or something

If your supra doesnt have a BHG yet, do yourself a favor and switch to a MHG!!!!

The engine is at the shop, the head is bad so were getting a new one for $425 with cams. We need to start ordering parts soon, taking apart the 7mge we had head bolts, but now looking online and on the forums everyone says to get head studs. What's the difference? Has anyone here used bolts...

Your Supra...is in better condition that the one we found...it's been sittin on a lot for god knows how long...and we're the 7th owners. You're still better off than us lol at least you know what you're doing.
