I am just about to get my '88 done picked up ARP studs (203-4202) and their literature says torque to 90lbs in 3 steps. Studs were C$135 plus tax at Mopac Auto Supply in Langley, BC. Was amazed to find them locally.

The day has come- suddenly masses of white smoke out the exhaust pipe- sweet smelling. I assume its a BHG. Could anyone who has had the work done recently suggest what costs should be to fix this. thanks.

Just one of my rear speakers has developed heavy distortion - before I pull it out has anyone had this problem and can they offer advice on replacing or fixing it? Thanks for any help.

Almost embarassed to admit it but I had a recent overheating at low revs. Temp guage would go to red and then fall back to normal. Changed the air filter which was old and was filthy- problem solved!!

It happens for the first turn or two of the wheel whilst moving, once under way it's fine.

Would appreciate any informed advice. When first moving my 88 turbo the steering is suddenly very stiff, after a few seconds movement its fine again. P/s fluid levels are ok.

my 10 year old interstate battery just died- i got it from bcaa battery assist. online they quote $145.95 for a new battery for my 88 supra- they come to your place install it and take away the old one.

Has anyone tried this brand- any thoughts. For sale on ebay from a local supplier in Vancouver about $35/rears.

My f/g either doesn't read at all or is intermittant. I can live with it if this would be a major fix presumably involving the fuel tank. Any sage advice would be welcome.
