Book states bearing play limit in axle direction is 0.05 mm or .0020 in and axle shaft flange runout the same. You may find out the play is from axle shaft or bearing housing. Get caliper do some measurement instated of buying new bearing to find out were is the problem.
I think this guy has 87 or 88 supra, this is almost 30 years car that has been abused by other owners such as putting cheap aftermarket sunroof. The fact that some idiot cut a hole in the roof to put in $50 sunroof tells you the history of the car. Everything that this guy is complaining about...
Not really, you use your old whip antenna as a base, then the mast will be used to mount the fixed antenna,. The antenna is $10 from Ebay. I like the TRD brand. If there is any interest I can explain how to do it.
I got tired of bent or broken antenna, beside supra antenna may not work with aftermarket stereo, because some needed hardware is in the stock radio. I switched to fixed antenna, it works fine and I don't worry about it anymore. Retractable antennas are a thing of the past.

Supra was aerodynamically designed which later this practice was followed by all car manufactures , that is why the supra body style after 30 years never gets old. Supra has a suspension that rivals any race car. The interior is design for sport car driver. I have worked on my car over the years...
If you look at the flat section on the lower part, it is the housing for upper part. slide the dust boot up spray some WD-40 down the shaft and little tap with hammer to make it slide down. don't modify the steering wheel with welding etc. these parts are engineered with precision because your...
The intermediate shaft the one on the first picture has two pieces, these two pieces slide in and out of each other, with the dust boot at the joint. You just have to slide the lower part down. word of wisdom , with wheels straight ahead put the steering wheel in correct place before installing...
VSV I think stand for vacuum solenoid valve,a part of EGR system, it is under intake manifold close to EGR valve. It activated by ECU. if you disconnect it and apply battery voltage and ground you should hear it open and close.
