Can someone tell me where it is? I have a '90 here at the house I'm working on, throwing Code 52. Is there a way to check it? It doesn't throw the light right away, usually appears after 2-10 mins of being started, even if it's just sitting and idling.
Had the same thing in my RX-7 Turbo, until I bled the system properly. If you got white smoke though, you got a BHG. If you have air tools and good skills, you can pull the head in less than half a day easy. You need to take head to the machine shop to be checked for flatness though before...
Really? I was thinking the bigger engines wouldn't get that good of mileage. Although I guess 2.5-3.0 ain't that big. I'm more used to the Chrysler V8's and 2.2 8v engines. I don't know what the capabilities of the stock computer system is on the Supra either.
Always pays to have at least a backup DD. Something that runs excellent that you don't want to mod. My backup DD is the old lady's '87 Dodge Diplomat :) Lotta people drive 500hp DD's though. Of course, most of them have lotsa money too, cause at 500hp you'll go through a bit of gas even driving...
