Nope, the engine is really quite symmetrical. The only modification that I had to do was make a throttle cable bracket and reverse the guide on the TB that accepts the throttle cable end.

Nah, wont be any updates for a little while. Cams are going to be quite expensive...I need to get a couple more customers who want these swaps done. That should net me some project money for cams. lol.

Only taking it to 6500. No point in going higher with these cams - they just choke out BAD.

Yeah, I build and tune for a living. :evil2: As for ignition, plans are to get a nice COP setup. Honestly I wanted to test the limits of the stock ignition system - guess I found it.

So...not completely satisfied with the numbers, but it is what it is. Final pull was at 18psi (red on the printout above). 638rwhp 618rwtq. It has a solid 800rwhp in it but anything over 18psi and it was blowing out spark. I guess for what it is the 100% stock ignition system ain't that bad...

In all honesty and with all due respect, syncing ignition timing is one of the first things you need to learn when playing with a standalone.

Cam sensors are on the aluminum housing that surrounds the cam gears. They are reluctors that pickup from single tooth on the cam gears.

Dare I ask...how long did this take to complete? :) Isn't this the one that you guys started working on like 3 or 4 years ago? IBoughtASupra - Base timing is calibrated by locking the haltech to a timing value - doesn't really matter what it is could be 5, 10, 15, etc. - and using a timing...

They are Siemens Deka's. As for the duty cycle -- I can't remember exactly where it ended up, but if memory serves me correct.....it was around 45-50% @ ~11.8:1 @ 12psi or so. I've yet to have a chance to see what it's capable of though - for obvious reasons. If I had to guess it should be...
