Just an update in case anyone needs to know.
Brown wires e1 e2 appear to be for the computer and sensor grounds
Gray wires VF and IGSW appear to be for Check connector and Iginition Switch.
Here is a picture of the wires (2 gray 2 brown, the other wire is just for reference to show their size). I would just normally wire it up and troubleshoot it myself, but since this will be going into my mx72 wagon I would like to lessen the potential for mis-wiring in at least this portion...
Good evening,
I have a hacked up 7mgte grey plug harness, problem is that the previous owner hacked about 3 feet out of half the wires in between the firewall grommet and where it begins to separate into sensors. I am soldering in wires to complete the harness, but I ran into a small issues...
It really depends on the application and what you are expecting from it... I did DIY turbo on my miata a couple years back and I got so much oil in the intake manifold/cylinders due to a shitty turbo CHRA. That along with 120k+ of carbon build up was in there, and I a super crappy idle (also due...
Yah just freaked out thinking about all the sensors/ reading all the harness work to convert, but I found this guy running MS2 on his 7mgte in an older chassis. IDK what I was thinking lol, probably easier to build it along with building a harness as well...
Sweet very good to know, but would you say that with MS the needed modifications/wiring would be less hassle then "DIYPNP"?
Excuse the question, not looking to sidetrack the thread and I am new to 7mgte so I am still searching. I have experience with MS2 on my miata, and MS1 on my brothers NA...
Can I ask why you all are using MS when there is a DIYPNP for the N52 or N76? I only ask because I am rebuilding a 7mgte that is going my my 85 mx72 (cressida wagon) so I will most likely go DIYPNP for ease of standalone along with the ability to tune later down the road.
A+ for effort, but doesn't the new upper portion look tiny compared to stock. Sure it will get you better charge piping routing for a different FMIC, but flow will probably be much worse. Also, I would think the flow would be restricted seeing this was intended for a 4.8L v12 NA motor (or 2.4L...
