Dam looks like your finding more rust as you go. With all the welding on the frame you have done/have yet to do and the rust removal I would have just bought a shell by now, lol!
Dam fine job so far sir! Really like how this is coming along! Makes me wish I had a garage to my house even more. I've never painted a car in my life either but it looks really good to me. Must not be able to see what you see is wrong with it.
Could you elaborate on wet sanding please...
Well I went and took a look at the car. The guy had told me in several e-mails that was absolutely no rust. I asked to look on the inside of the car, under the hood and of course under the car. It was a rust bucket with gaping holes near the driver's side quarter panel and around the...
Thanks! I'll look into a 7m-gte engine. I've found quite a few sites scanning through the forums to look for one. I'll post back when I've set grasp on one.

Looks really good bro! Clean the bottom of that dam thing will ya?:icon_bigg Makes all the new stuff look wrong on it, lol! Just messing bro but good shit!

Great pics bro! Looking very clean under the hood the more you do! Wish I lived closer to some of you guys so I could come watch, help and learn hands on. Would really help me out when I do mine. But reading up and watching from the forums is all I have for now and so far it's been really good...
Just read through all of this...my eyes hurt. And not from the blue, lol!:icon_bigg Not my taste but it's not bad.
Can't wait to see this all done. No offense, but I can't believe your shop teacher didn't see some of the mistakes these guys have pointed out. Was he watching or helping during...
Thanks bro! These are the type of tips and helpful info that I need! I greatly appreciate it! I do own a house though, not an apartment. But yeah I'll see what I can do. I'm going to wait till I get enough money and find a good MKIV because I like them better. Then I'll start ordering everything...
Well my place doesn't have a huge front. And the back has a nice area for parking but it's all filled in with rocks. Can't roll under the hood like that, lol! On the side of house I can work with certain things but can't leave it too long because the apartment complex next to me owns the lot and...
Yeah I have actually been leaning away from everything posted above. I have actually come across a 1989 Toyota Supra non turbo 5 speed manual for $500 with a blown head gasket. Think it's worth it? Still waiting to here back if it's sold or not but I would want to check it out before I buy it...
Jaw dropping pics bro! The Supras stole the show I.M.O. from left to right. I do like the MKIII but the MKIV's there were killer! Something about the rounded body does it more for me than the older models. But I can't find one so I'll be getting stuck with the older model which is fine for now...
