M112 Supercharged 2JZA80-GE Supra with Manualised hybrid transmission

This supercharged manualised transmission combo is an Awesome drive, overtaking is effortless and the amazing working-noises generated from a change-down encourage many to pull over just so they can hear it howl by. :) Rev limit cuts in with a flame throwing tail-gunner which can add to the...

Thank you. Links are good for me, try a different browser. My signature link is to full specs of the build where there's a link to a comprehensive build thread photofest of the whole project.

Flappy-paddle operated ignition retard to 6° BTDC is wired to ECU and functions perfectly, on and off-able with O.D. button, street-mode and race-mode. Red triangle is out at last and set to illuminate if the AFR runs lean. AEM EGT sensor is speaking to the ECU. No vacuum leaks...

M112 Supercharged 2JZA80-GE Supra with Manualised hybrid transmission

I've been sniffing out a list of Gremlins in preparation for mapping on 9th Oct. Repairing/modifying the exhaust manifold evicted the LAMBDA sensor fuel trimming Gremlin. Finalising the water/meth installation evicted a mystery ground Gremlin. Upgrading the supercharger exit-flange evicted...

Rollus, Open a thread about your transmission project, and I'll help as I can. I'll go and look in case you already have.

Without visual aid, I'm lost now? Will a 2JZA80 J3 bell-housing fit or be modified to fit an MA70?

M112 Supercharged 2JZA80-GE Supra with Manualised hybrid transmission

Thank you. :) The current dynograph is in post 1, yet this will soon be superseded. I have full boost before? 3k rpm yet the torque delivery is via the torque-convertor which I am finding gives better results set @ lower rpm, the bottom 2 lines are previous mappings with the TC @ 2.8k rpm...

Excuse my delay, the thread notification had been consumed into my spam box. Yes it can/could be done, yet the estimated costs of the engineering required were beyond consideration. The route I chose was the simplest, cheapest, strongest and easiest to maintain.

The HHO is presently not part of the equation. :( If you've seen my build thread, there's a lot of things to keep up with and for safety's sake, I'll refit it after the 500? bhplbft target remap.

If you mean the tail-shaft casing? I believe that swapping this casting requires a complete strip down and rebuild using some of the weaker N/A components. I chose to use a T.T. auto prop for a simpler and stronger plug & play installation.

M112 Supercharged 2JZA80-GE Supra with Manualised hybrid transmission

I've admired plenty of alternative builds and always wanted to have a go at a challenging one myself, so chose this mythical and supposedly impossible route. It'll never be the fastest Supra, yet I promise it is the most Awesome Supra, the word "Awesome" is used by all who've had a go and by...

M112 Supercharged 2JZA80-GE Supra with Manualised hybrid transmission

Merci. The charge-cooler I made from a cut down core re-welded into the N/A inlet manifold and fed through two Jag X300 pre-rads. The transmission is a T.T. unit fitted with a modified N/A valve-body and controlled with a Suprastick ECU and Lexus IS250 flappy paddles. In my signature link...
