i agree, the haynes manual is kind of BS. i did happen to see the injector resistor pack by the strut tower tho.. im pretty sure thats what it was. i read on the celica supra website that early GE's use low impedence injectors and a resistor pack, not sure myself but just the info i collected...

i found the resistor pack and check it for power, i also checked for continuity between the resistors and it all checked out..

in the haynes book wiring diagram it shows a resistor pack, not sure where it is located under the hood tho.
