Very interesting!
I will have to check into this because I did changed the blower motor with an after market one. When I replaced the motor it could be wired to rotate any direction.
HUM!~ I just wonder. That should be an easy one to find out this weekend.

I have to disregard the BHG as an option for mine. Even a small leak like you mention would require the addition of more fluid eventually. My coolant levels have been on the line since purchase the car. I am more inclined to the motor for the heater core door not working. I just haven't got the...
Hello Guys!
If you identify the problem, please let me know. Mine hase the same problem and I have checked the heater control valve (OK). The temperature control unit is working properly (I can see the heater control valve moving as I change the temperature settings). And I have a brand new...
Oh!
Get the next size up hex and grind the bottom tip flat. You dont want any round corners on it.
Try to tap it in with a hammer until it goes in. If it goes in the hole you should have enough grip to get that bolt out.
If that doesnt work. I have seen guys with a hammer and chissel hit...
Ok! Back to work.
I decided to to have a a project for the 4th of July.
Heater core replacement.:nono:
Man, what a mess!
Not that it was hard but more nuts and bolts that i had imagine.
Any ways, now that I was already there we replaced the old cracked dash board with a nice one.

BINGO!
Sometimes is the simple stuff we overlook.
The 7.5A IGN fuse was good bot not making contact. I twisted the fuse legs a little and done.
I got it running again. I just wonder what the original problem was.
Maybe the revs started going up and down as the fuse was vibrating in...
:3d_frown:Ok guys, back to the drawing board.
New pump and still nothing.
No blown fuses.
I took a long wire and jumped the fuel pump all the way back at the connector plug and thare was fuel inmediately coming out from the cold start injector hose.
Any ideas?
Yes, no blown fuses.
I took the pump out today and discovered that a 30 cent piece of plastic cost me my pump. The plastic housing for the fuel pump little filter had broken and something got inside the pump and locked it up. :kickinthenuts:
I was in my garage (very quiet) and no noise from the pump. I got under the car and nothing. I disconnected the main gas line that feeds the injectors and just air came out.
Yes, I did what the book says for troubleshooting the fuel pump.
Turn the ignition on.
Jump from terminal Fp and +B at the service connector.
Nothing happened.:3d_frown:
