Anyone? Do I need to give more information. I'm just so surprised how 3 codes I have never seen pop up literally 130 miles after I fix 2 or 3 others. My dad always said that if you replace one hose, the pressure from that one is bound to break another and so on and so forth...This kind of...
So I fixed the coolant temp sensor wires, and calibrated the TPS, it runs like a dream. Drove it for about 130 miles Now on the way home form work the CEL came back on. Its 25 and 26 which is nuts at the same time and also 34 which I'm assuming is because of the other 2 codes. I looked and it...
Looks like the wires to the green coolant temp sensor (brown and green)were cut right at the sensor and taped...wasn't my doing but going to fix that now. Wish me luck.
Ok I guess the E2 circuit is open, and needs to be grounded since 41 and 22 are flashing. What's the best way to ground this sucker?? This is where I want to start there...
This is when I am adjusting, correct. Does it matter that the car does not have a/c no compressor or anything and when the rebuild was done the throttle adjustment screw was not put back.
And am I looking at the TPS harness, or the ECU harness
*Update* Took the car out this morning. It...
I've been having some rough idling issues, stalling and falling on its face during acceleration. The CEL says that its 22, 41 and 51. I have tried adjusting the TPS, and the same results continue, so I bought a new one and put it on as well as a new coolant temperature sensor and thermostat (the...
I had a code 51, so i tried both ways with Cygnus, and using the slow flash fast flash methods. I had to leave the car for a minute. It was for the most part put back together. I touched the TPS plug and the car started running very inconsistently. I played around with it for a bit, and just...
Just took the car out again. It was cold when I started it. I let it run for about 20 min. Double checked all of my clamps, got in it and it ran perfect. I drove around for a bit, slowly the problems began. Down to a jumpy tack (never stalls). And an occasional back fire shifting from 1st to 2nd...
Hey guys just got the supra back. Fresh rebuild was running like a champ. All of a sudden on the way home from the shop she got really weak at a stop light. I figured maybe she is working out some kinks. The guys told me I would need to replace my BOV because it occasionally sticks. That's fine...
