chances are a noisy valve....I know what your talking about, prolly just a valve or your hearing the intake pulses, but that sounds deeper than vavle tick
ok, got the car running decent only running 9.5 psi, and pulls verry strong up untill the wastegate opens then it starts to run a little rough and seems to have lost a decent amount of powere, boost guage still says 9.5psi but it may be wrong and I'm running less, but i dought I'm over boosting...

sorry off topic but are the two ports "behind the butterfly valve" on the TB a decent port to pull for the BOV because mine keeps fluttering and I'm afraid of compresser surge and I don't know if my BOV is getting enough vacume our not

found out what it was, the crank timing gear rear guide had decentigrated and the timing belt moved all the way to the back and became aroun 100 or so degrees off time thats why it was detonating in the intake manifold, so I will be replacing that soon, is the dealer the best place to buy it...
/\ thats what I thought, but I can see the timing belt and its fine, just not sure what could of happend posibly somthing with the tranny or anything just when I cranked it over it was almost a grinding sound like when you turn the starter over while the car is running..I just don't know of...
