i had better luck with intel for gaming and graphics. AMD will never come back to life, its just going to die slowly.

shit, i understand. everyday some new upgrades come out for pc's.im trying to pull 3-5 years out of this pc. you do alot of gaming?

nah, not really..its just for programming and slight gaming.. if i went "all out" it would be with a I7 with the 1366 socket, but the I5 with the 1156 will be more then good. shit, i wouldnt spend the $3500 on a pc, just do a nice swap.
