Thought It was about time I update the build thread...
So heres how motor sits. It sat a little sideways because of mounts, But I cut out a rectangular peice of metal and drilled a hole in it to use it as a spacer for the mounts, so now the motor isnt as sideways.. Just a temporary fix until I...
Yeah the subframe shouldnt be bad.. Its just the Hicas that I'm working with now...
This is the same thing that I'm working with, The tie rod.. It sucks when you don't have all the tools you need =(

Got the bad mount cut off the plate that it was on and got a new plate cut out and drilled.
The tranny mount needed to be fixed too, Had them slot the holes.
Bought a subframe today too.

Removing the A/T
Torque converter that pissed all over my garage floor...
Then when installing the Flywheel, I pulled a noob move and over torqued a flywheel bolt with a snap on impact gun.. After a few hours(added up in between days) I got it...
I need to know how much to torque my flywheel bolts to on the 1jz.
I am running W58, with sc300 flywheel.
So what should I torque an sc300 flywheel bolts to? A friend told me around 80pounds. But I want a second opinion.
-Thanks
Oh well you got it easy then, you should have just about everything. You will probably just need driveshaft, clutch line, engine mounts and some other misc things I think.
I'm working on a 1jz 240sx right now. For transmission, you will need flywheel and clutch, and custom clutch line(tech 2 motorsports). Then of course you need intercooler setup, radiator (KA24 Radiator will work from what I hear)
Depending on what you get with the engine you might need MAP...
I got mine from Ebay, a company called Nagasaki Motors. $1200 with AT, Ecu, and wiring harness. Engine is not in the car yet. But it looks good from what I can see, My only problems was that they didn't cover up the intake or charge piping at all when they shipped it.
The last time I bought shitty cheap headlights, the little plastic lenses inside melted off, and fell out inside the light.
And you cold see the hot glue drips, dripping down on the inside of the light.
Thats my experience.
