You can go lower then 3.55 The 161 has 3.23 en with the Mk3 you can also go 3.2 so it wil be the same as Mk4

Hmm strange I think the ecu is bad Why? Because if the mines is still tuned for like bigger ijectors (550 most of the time) the car wil stil idle fine and drive fine butt when you hoit the gapedal itt wil run very rich I have no issue with idle with my mines with stock injectors...
