the radiator does cool the transmission fluid, engine operating temp might reach as high as 190-200 under heavy load, but the coolant exiting the radiator is far less then that, more like 150-160F as it leaves the bottom of the radiator, so how I have it tied in is the exit of the tranny cooler...
