i bought a xtd flywheel second hand from a member here a couple years back. finally getting around to installing it and i was looking at other pictures of the flywheel and there's a "shim" on the crank side of the flywheel and my flywheel has no "shim". my question is can i just use washers? or do i have to machine a "shim" to push the flywheel out a little more?

No you shouldnt use washers.

Either find the right part or get a better flywheel. Xtd = cheap.

xtd here and no shim not sure why ya want it? my start gear has good engagement to

i know auto flex plate have a a shim to reinforce them from cracking around the bolt holes

i whould not worry about

one thing you might wana do thou is make the step deeper for less pedal stroke i am going to do it this time around
