Hello, I decided to go with 1JZ swap into my pre '89 Supra.
Got engine from Toyota Soarer and many other required to swap this engine into my chassis parts.
I bought from eBay 1JZ/2JZ swap motor brackets for pre '89 supras with square motor mounts like those ones

and....
one fits both sides of engine but second one fits nowhere!!
Spacing of holes on plate is different than on the engine. I checked on eBay and other shops with swap parts as well and all motor brackets are the same. All custom made to be a bolt on replacement for stock ones.
Do you have any idea what is wrong? I would like to post my project and share it with you but I'm in dead end now :1zhelp:

Thank you so much, I'm going to tell that to my lazy mechanic tomorow. I brought him those brackets 3 weeks ago and today he told me "they are wrong, don't fit"
I've found that the one that fits goth sides is right one (as you said- the other is intake side)

"right" goes on the passanger side in LHD versions ;)
just got info from my mechanic, something else was screwed to a hole where intake side bracket should be but now brackets are fitted and everything is OK!
Shame that it took him 3 weeks...
