working on harness. fuel vsv, keep or not?

so im doing my jdm 2j harness conversion and removing all other wires and plug that is not needed. im at the fuel vsv and wondering if i need it

What does the fuel vsv do aside helping with starting? does it help with the giving atmospheric pressure before the manifold gets close to 0 atmospheric pressure?

Are you talking about a little green solenoid with two nipples on it under the intake?

after doing some reading it turns out there is no fuel specific to the fuel pressure. im wondering why my motor runs super lean at 2000 rpm.

A lot of 1JZ have that lean spot between 2000-3000RPM. It has been there since people started doing 1JZ swaps. Others don't have any lean spot at all.

You could fix it by getting a SAFC and tuning to compensate for it.
