She is over her due date by a week. Shes only dialated to 1cm.
So we go in tonight at 9:00 to start getting her dialated and then
6:00am thursday morning the doctor is going to come in and break
her water and get things rolling. Then hopefully early tomorrow we
will have another member of the supra family.

First kidlet?

Bring something with you to keep you busy. Stack of car mags, couple books,... playstation...

The first one always takes a long time. My wife was dilated by 5cm and it still took another 23 hours from there.

Remember to bring your baby seat, I don't think they'll let you leave without it. They wouldn't here, anyway. Bring your own receiving blankets and cap, the ones the hospital supplied were junk. Don't forget your camera! Just don't take any photos that will get you killed. :D

Oh ya... one more thing. While she's in labor, it's ok to lie to her. Just one more push, sweetie, and you can rest, it will all be over. Trust me on this.

Congrats and good luck mate!!!!!!!!

I just brought a new member into the Supra family 3 months ago, but she was a surprise arrival, so we had no baby clothes or camera or anything ready.... GrimJack's advice is FTW!

Oh, and make sure you don't leave the room once the doctors start things along... My bf left just to move the car, and missed the little one's birth :(

You think that was unintentional? Nope, he had it all planned out. He didn't have to listen to all of the yelling, and swearing, and yuck that goes with birth.

Okay, maybe not, but that's how I'm going to go about it. Birth just freaks me out.

If they induce her with pitocin, stay the fuck away from her until she gets her epidural. Holy hell.

Thanks to all of you,
We had our first baby boy at 2:51pm yesterday.
7lbs. 7oz. 19 3/4inches long with
Ginourmous feet. His name is Kabhan James Ramsey.
I will post pics when we get sent home.
Everything is perfect Both of them are healthy.

And tanya I know what you mean about the pitocin and epidural.
we started the pitocin at 5:30 yesterday morning and she wasnt
able to get the epidural until almost noon. I felt so bad for her.
But now that our beautiful son is here we forgot all about the
pain she was in.

Once again Thank You everyone!:icon_bigg
