will 89+ tails fit 86.5 supra?

first thread so pardon me if this has been asked, but im wondering if i can put the 90 3piece tails on a 86.5 supra, and if its a huge pain in the butt, or if it bolts right up

It's been done, you will need all 3 components......left, right and center. You might need to drill a couple of holes to mount the center trim. Also you might lose the ability to open your hatch with your key unless you get it rekeyed. So far I have not seen any detailed write up, but yes it will work.

you can do it but you might as well buy 89+ tail lights to.....just a thought....

^i believe hes talking about the tail lights not the spoiler. you can use the same hatch lock and you just need to make 2 excisting holes bigger.
