i used to drive my buddies old 87 and that thing was easy to conrtol

mk3 just as easy cetp supra have an issue with snap over streer

because the engine isn't mounted on the front tires as much as it's mounted behind them (of you count the tranny and engine combo together)

not to mention the heavy diff and IRS...

keep in mind our cars aren't of the "cab forward" design, so all the seats are farther back than in modern cars as well...

doesnt the Cressida have a longer wheel base? if so, i think thats why. i think its easier to controll a drift with a car with a longer wheel base than one with a shorter.

Turning angle on the Cressida is far greater than the Supra, stock. The suspension on the Cressida is different than the Supra's suspension.

The next statement is just to validate Mr.SelfDestruct's claim, the Cressida is not solid rear axle, it is independent.

From the seat of the pants, the Cressida feels lighter and more agile. Being so, the Cressida felt more predictable and easier to steer than the Supra.
