I don't know about the rest of you, but I can't stop looking at Supras. Craigslist, autotrader, ebay, I can't help myself. Not in the market to buy one, but I just like looking. Every time I see someone list a Supra as a V6 I just about yell at my screen " LOOK UNDER THE HOOD YOU IDIOT, it's an I6! "
:icon_mad:
Anyway... I feel better now... *goes back to looking at Supras*

People don't know that V is the formation, they just think it means how many cylinders. I actually had a kid argue with me that his Ford Escort was a V4...

Ford did make a V4, although I don't believe it ever came in Escorts, lol. I think it was available in Gernamny or something...

As for listing I6s as V6s, ignorance, that's all.

I have to wonder if when you list a car if I6 is even an option??? I see a bunch of old I6 jeeps, F150's ect listed as v6's and by dealers. You have to think a dealer would know the difference???

some people just don't care enough to go online and research what engine configuration they have while selling..

"honey, is it a V6 or an I6?"

"don't know but you better find out before they make a thread about it on SM"

"my god, you're right"

*runs out to check*

I would love to see a person post a Supra for sale as a V6....then at least I know not to buy from them being that who the fuck knows what they have done to the car if they don't even know what type of engine they have.

Yea I think the original Mustang concept was designed with a V4, before it made it to production.

Last time I checked traderpubs.com they dont have an I6 selection button. Remember many ads are done using these automated webpages and not once have I seen an I6 button. I'm gonna give them the benifit of the doubt and imagine thats why the ad says V6.

There's a MKII around Boston that is at most of the large car shows. It's got custom interior, xbox, It's pretty ugly, and V6 badging on the fenders:naughty: . Daledoe posted a pic of it at HIN on here awhile ago, I'll see if I can find it.

You gotta see it in person Tanya, the wheels look like aluminum foil.

The only decent thing I liked was it had the Boston skyline embroidered into the seats... cool for a show-car, I just wouldn't do it to a Supra.
