whos a fan of the Mosin Nagant?

i certainly am! here in az we can occasionally pick one up at Big 5 for $100+/-. with its devastating 7.62x54r round it makes a great budget hunting rifle in my eyes. there is aftermarket stock, rounds fmj/soft tipped for hunting etc, scopes, better bolt designs.. they are a blast to shoot.

i think this rifle has earned a thread on any forum with a firearm section. got any thoughts, comments, storys post em!!

Might already have a thread if you dig deep enough. I've held/aimed a Dragunov, but never a Mosin. The Dragunov was a pretty solid gun though, never have gotten around to shooting it though, I was always working nights when my buddy went out shooting it.

One is ati, the other is a custom thumbhole pistol grip tac driver stock. If you look in the gun section for my mosin adventures thread you will see both of them. Neither are finished as my best friend is moving to Minnesota...fucking hell
