4" then splits to twin 3" to gain ground clearance.
It has about 50-60 hours of work involved and about $1000 worth of materials.

This one of the best Pipe welding I have seen.:biggrinbo I love it

$1000 in materials? I know a couple guys said thats a pretty good deal, but i'm not seeing it.
The 304 stainless I can get 6' long tubes of for under $100. V band flanges are about $50 for stainless. Only remaining factor are the mufflers. I mean keeping in mind that you did all the welding your self and didnt pay someone to do it right? I would see the materials costing me maybe $600, accounting for 18' of pipe and like 4 V bands. Not sure how many V bands you use. Do you have have a metal fab connection or did you have to buy all the materials at retail?

V band flanges may be cheap but the V band themselves are around 150 each. (At least it's what I paid for mine.) Making an exhaust, the costs can vary depending on what materials are used and which company they are purchased from. I have everything from Burns so things get pricey really quick. Ask Ron, Slow66, Nate or anyone on that stuff. ;)

Oh yeah, I forgot about the V bands them selves. I'll have to look that up. I get that fab stuff from Vibrant, and I have a VERY good Vibrant account

It IS a nice exhaust tho!

I hate the look of almost every aftermarket exhaust. This is a f*#($# work of art. I would never want to even kick pebbles upon it.

The sexiest MK3 exhaust ever created. Period.

When it was built 3 years ago the Canadian Dollar was $1CND to $.58USD. It ad's up fast when building a car that way.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys. Cost did not play a large role in building this. I wanted something different and something of the highest quality I was able to get. I got what I wanted and am glad you guys all like it.
