Which gasket maker to use Please Help

Im installing a used cat back exhaust,I dont have any of the gaskets that go with system Can I use one of those gasket makers like permatex?

I've used Permatex Ultra Copper Maximum Temperature RTV with good results on exhaust.

I'm using the same stuff (Permatex 700F copper) on both sides of my test pipe. It's been there over a year with no problems.

Donut gasket+ copper rtv does it for me. I dont think i would put a flange up to another flange with no gasket and just RTV

As much as I hate to admit it, I've done it in a pinch. It works, it's ghetto, but it does work.

You can, but it's not the best thing to do. If you can get a gasket, you should use one.

Sheet of .032" 1100 series aluminum, tin snips, and a Unibit always works for me....

Does anyone know where I can buy the square gasket as well as the 2 bolt,I checked suprasport,suprastore and horsepowerfreaks and only suprasport has the 2 bolt but no one has the square one

the cheepest gasket you can make is the copper stuff and a pop can
or cerile box

cut 2 squre shaped flanges rtv them together and add it on the other sides takes heat well other and seal's very well and piss ass easy to make

Does anyone know where I can buy the square shape gasket I saw a hks exhaust system that has the same shape but I dont know if the sell it by itself
