with X part of it filled in. I'm thinking of relocating my climate control so I can do 6 gauges 3 in each row but I want it to look clean. What are you guys using as far as materials go. I know I've seen a few of you guys who made them. I've spent some time reading on how to make molds for fiberglass but obviously I won't be doing FG.

Yes...good job indeed. Good job of purchasing it!

It was made by TTE, but he's not making them anymore. Should we have someone else make it?

while i cant justify purchessing it, because the stock trim does just fine for me (im also not putting gaguges there)......if it were say carbon fiber the bling fator may be enough for me lol

Carbon fiber bling factor is do-able, for a bling price.

How hard is it to wedge that into place? I know the stock piece requires a little bit of bending to get it in there.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I used ABS plastic and cut it to fit. One for where the ash tray was, and one where the radio was.

I don't "wedge" it into place. I lay it in, slowly and carefully.
