when i bought it, it has been sitting in the same spot for at least a year before i got it

Mine was apparently being daily driven when I bought it, though why I don't know. Either way I learned a valuable lesson..
Now to fixing it...... :cry:

I'm a bit afraid of the maintenance I'm preparing to do on my Mk2... fortunately I don't live far from work, but I suspect I'm in for some fun times in the next few months. Gonna be doing a proper shakedown of the car while I still have a Mk3 in one piece to drive if something does break on the Mk2. That one has been sitting for a couple years now...
