i dont have the pics now...but its the polished/chrome work vs-xx. i was more curious if the o-disk would have any contact with my wilwood caliper and rear stock calipers? i really dont want to run spacers if im going to spend that much.

Try the wheels on, with the Wilwood caliper installed, before you buy spacers.

I've bought a set of 8.5 x 18 & 9.5 x 18 both +35.

Could I run 255 / 35 / 18 in the front and 285 / 35 / 18 in the rear without problems without any fender roll or pull and with inner fenders in place?

Are you lowered/how much? The fronts should be ok but 285 in the rear will rub I think without a pull.

Not lowered right now. But I have a set of Eibachs in the closet.

Damn, I was really hoping to be able to stuff a 285 in the rear.

What would be the max in the rear?

18X9 +38 AND 18X 10.5 + 39 O DISK WITH NEW FEDERALS 235/40'S AND 245/40'S

The wheels and tires will fit; however, you bring 2 other factors into the equation: 1. your wheels are 0 disk. 2. you have wilwood calipers.

You'll just have to try the wheels on to find out if the wheels will clear the calipers.

KWNate is running the same wheels, 18x9,34mm et (f), high disc, and they clear his Wilwood billet Superlite calipers fine. Low disc will not clear w/o spacers in that offset you listed. Don't be afraid of spacers though. H&R, and Project Kic's make great billet spacers, that keep the hub centricity (a must for front wheels!) The H&R kits have the extended studs, and are well worth the $ and extra time, for a sick set of Work VX-SS's!!!:boink::yum:

With the wheels that you got, you're basically gonna make the car fit the wheels (rather than the usual way of making the wheels fit the car).

If you go with 20mm spacers, your new offsets will be +18 front and +19 rear. With these new offsets, first...you'll need a to roll all your fenders. Then your tires would have be slightly stretched.

Below is my car, though we have different diameters and widths, our wheels stick out of the car the same distance. I intended for my car to be low, so I had to make my car fit the wheel.



The rear wheel on this car is 10.5+18,which has 265/30/19. My fender was rolled, then flared out. (The suspension also has a negative camber. For your wheel, you'd run 265/35/18

The front wheel below is 9.5+24 has 235/35/19. Again, the fender was rolled then flared out and the suspension has negative camber. For your wheel, you'd run 235/45/18

man thanks for your guys help again...well i wasn't thinking about running spacers for the rear as i think they should clear the stock brakes. the spacers were only maybe for the front. but if they will clear with maybe a 5mm or so spacer then i will do that. i really didnt want to run spacers but if the deal is good then i will buy them.

do you guys think a 285 tire would fit the rear without spacers....i got 255/35/18s for the fronts but idk

So, I have a question for anybody that can help. Picked these up from a buddy and the back tires scrape on the fenders (barely on the outside edge of the tire). I think the offset is to far out on the back. I like the wheels and tires a bunch. I'm pretty sure they are Eagle Alloy 168. 17 X 9 ? The rears have 275.40.17 and the fronts are 245.45.17. I know nothing about wheels and tires. Questions:

1. Will finder rolling fix the scraping problem?

2. Will different tires (lower profiles) fix the problem and will it look good?

3. If so what tires would fit nicely?

4. If I don't keep them, what would these be worth used?

5. What car would these fit nicely on?

If anybody can help, that would be great!! Thanks

Rolling will help with the rubbing. You might have to get not so wide tires in the rear though. But overall it will work with a little work (sounds kinda dumb haha.) looks pretty good too :)

^Those are knock-off Mustang Cobra rims, probably with a 20-25mm offset. If you drop down a couple of tire sizes, say a 255/40-17(r), and a 235/40-17(f), and roll the fenders, you can dump the car, and with some negative camber, make them tuck nice. Those rims don't look too bad on a Supra, I just wouldn't leave them polished. The charcoal metallic wheel paint would be alot better finish for those. (IMHO...of course!:biglaugh:)

If the wdith and offset are the same for the front and rear wheels, just go with 245/45/17 tires all around. (That way you could also rotate your tires.) By going with the 245s, you won't need a fender roll.
