i was wondering what stock cars i can get the same 550cc injectors that will fit in the 7mgte. model specific and year specific. also what kind of impedance. what is the difference of side feed and top feed. i've never seen side feed so i don't know what the heck that is. i also heard that you can use 89-91 rx7 turbo injectors. another source said something about making sure you get the 550cc instead of the 850cc. does the rx7 turbo come with 2 different injectors? last thing, can you take out the fuel injector resistor block? that's it. thanks a lot guys.

yes the rx7 have two different size injectors they have primary and secondary injectors. the rx7 injectors you need are from an early 87 model only, the other years wont work. they are low impedence denso top feed. the part number is 195500-1370. they have a tan looking color on the connector they need to have the notch in the center of the connnector no offset. i have these injectors also but havebnt installed them on my new car, im gonna send them in to get tested cleaned and flowed. http://www.witchhunter.com/injectordata1.php4

HAHAHA well for 500 bucks I'm gonna go RC or Venom cuz A. they are designed specifacally for the car and B. They are brand spanking new.
Venoms are designed for the car because they are bored out stock injectors...

Yeah I wouldnt go with Venoms...Im just gonna stick with RC when it comes time for more fuel.

To answeryour first question Van, top feed injectors are fed fuel from the top and flow straight through the injector and out the bottom.
Side feed (if you havent guessed already, LOL) are fed fuel from the side and flow out the bottom.

So the official count of 550cc injectors here in my possession is 14. They are all low impedance.

I'll sell 6 for 225. I can get them each cleaned and tested for $7 a piece.

you can use bigger injectors, without the lex, you cant use the lex without bigger injectors.

you couldnt be more wrong. if you just went with the injectors and nothing else youll flood the car with fuel. sure the ecu will compensate some but it wont be enough, the flexability isnt there.

second you can run just the lex w/o injectors, however i have seen the dyno charts and its scary lean all over the place. again the ecu doesnt have the flexibility alone to compensate.

people do the lex/550s together as they balance out each other and provide a near stock feel. people often decide to finish upgrading their fuel system in here also and add in some fuel tuning, pump and afpr.
